2009/2010 Planning Resources for ELCA Theological Coordinators
We are particularly interested in collaboration opportunities that will illustrate the ways that congregations, synods, and other expressions of the ELCA are “church” together. And, of course, we would like to share our particular calling to create relevant and innovative faith formation and worship resources for congregations. Below are five ideas for ways we can collaborate in 2009/2010:
- We will provide an Augsburg Fortress webstore coupon for each of your Theological attendees. The coupons would offer $10 off a $50 order, and you could insert them in your registration packets.
- We will provide free Book of Faith Leader Resources to event attendees. We’ll send you a quantity of leader guides for a Book of Faith Bible Study to be distributed to each attendee.
- If you will share your event registration list with us, including email addresses, we will invite these key leaders to receive updates and participate in market research for new Book of Faith and other faith formation resources for this church.
- You could share a preview of new resources from Augsburg Fortress using a looping PowerPoint presentation that we will provide featuring the new and upcoming ministry tools under development for your congregations. You could run this PowerPoint during breaks or before the beginning of a session.
- Send us your ideas! We’d love to hear them. Even if they can’t all be implemented in 2009/2010, they may lead to some great opportunities for the future.
