The LBW liturgies CD-ROM is the liturgical portion of the LBW formatted to be accessed as a computer text file. The purpose of this is so the user can select specific information for any given worship occasion. Once the material is selected, it can be manipulated to create a worship bulletin or other such publication.

This product is a collection of liturgical text files (in plain text format and in Rich Text Format) and music graphics in TIFF (".tif" or Tagged Image Format) formats, BMP and PICT formats. Both Windows and Macintosh compatible "sides" (respectively) of the CD-ROMs for maximum compatibility with the broadest possible range of word processing and DTP (desktop publishing) software. Again, most problems with this product relate to software incompatibility.

For problems with the text files in the LBW and WOV CD-ROMs, refer to the Lutheran Resources for Worship Computer Series section.

Problem:

"When I print a TIFF music graphic in Adobe PageMaker, the image prints with white text on a black background."

Solution:

PageMaker for Mac prints our TIFF files incorrectly. Use the PICT file(s) of the same image(s).
