Words for Worship 2000, Cycle B version 1.1 and WordPerfect (any version)
Problem:
"When I open the Rich Text Format (".rtf") files on the latest Words for Worship CD, all I see is 'Times New Roman'." or "I am not able to adjust the line breaks."

Solution:
Corel WordPerfect is not fully compatible with the latest RTF specification. WordPerfect 8.x appears to be able to convert ".rtf" files. However, several customers have reported a problem where the soft returns are converted into hard returns in the converted document and that they are unable to change the resulting paragraph breaks.

Work-Around:
Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows 98 and Microsoft Windows NT all come with an accessory called the Wordpad which is compatible with the latest Microsoft RTF specification. The user should first open the file using Wordpad and then choose File, Save As to save the file as a Microsoft Word for Windows 6.0 file (the default). You will be able to open this converted file with WordPerfect 6.0 and later.

More Information:
The Rich Text Format (".rtf") files on this CD were created using Microsoft Word 98 for the Macintosh which is equivalent to Microsoft Word 97 for Windows, both of which translate RTF files using the new Microsoft RTF specification.

Problem:
The CD did not have any technical defects however, the Sunday Festival "Day" files from the previous year were included by mistake on the first issue of this CD. This was corrected with version 1.1.

Words for Worship 1999, Cycle A (item #3-4021) for Microsoft Windows
Problem:
The Windows compatible TrueType (TTF) fonts were omitted on the first release of this CD-ROM.

Solution:
If you have the Graphics for Worship CD, use the fonts found there.

Adobe Type Manager (ATM) will allow you to use PostScript fonts on your system. The PostScript fonts are included on the CD. Consult your documentation on how to install these fonts.

A replacement CD was mailed to all customers who purchased the original CD.

Words for Worship 1999, Cycle A (item #3-4021) for both Microsoft Windows and Macintosh
Problem:
Verses 9 and 10 were omitted from the first lesson of Sunday, Dec. 6, 1998 (Second Sunday in Advent, Series A) Isaiah 11.1-10.

Solution:
These two verses need to be typed in manually:

9) They will not hurt or destroy on all my holy mountain; for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.

10) On that day the root of Jesse shall stand as a signal to the peoples; the nations shall inquire of him, and his dwelling shall be glorious.
